nxtprograms.com is quickly becoming a prominent resource for Lego Mindstorms NXT enthusiasts. The Lego Guards enjoy building the projects in their "off" time (they LOVE the machine gun) and have learned quite a bit about programming and documenting programs by reviewing the freely available downloads from the site.

The owner of the site lives in Meadow Vista and wants to make sure that the entire team gets to the World Festival and has offered to sponsor part of the trip! We've always loved the site, and we're very proud to represent Dave and his work in Atlanta. The site provides free building instructions, documented programs, and tips and tricks on using and enjoying the Mindstorms NXT system. (No, they DON'T help anyone - us included - with anything FLL related.)  Other teams will find information on the site at our booth and we will have literature available there for anyone that's interested.

The Sacramento office of Hussmann Refrigeration has generously donated enough batteries to take care of the team for the rest of the season.

The same morning as the News 10 live interview, we received a package with 36 AA Lithium batteries (that's 6 sets). It may not sound like much at first, until you realize that each battery of this type typically costs between $2.50 and $3.00. That means this is a sponsorship donation of almost $100.00!
