General Information
Every year FIRST LEGO League (FLL) selects a topic for that year. This year (2007) it is called "Power Puzzle". As part of the challenges and activities that the team must perform they have to do a research/community project and presentation. FLL's requirements were that the team select a public building, do an energy audit of that building, and come up with means to help that building. Then they must share that information with the community.
The Lego Guards chose the Placer County - Auburn Public Library and with enthusiastic help of the library staff were able to complete the audit and suggest means of saving up to $47,000 per year in energy costs.
