Friday, we went to PS7 (Public School 7)  and presented to the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.  We showed them our presentation, gave them a quick demonstration of the table, then we did a run.  It got a little boring after the second time, but it was really cool to see the kid's faces light up when they saw the table and the robot doing its missions.  

 Today, we went to PG&E energy training center.  We sat in a classroom, and talked about our different subjects, and the guy, (I can't remember his name) said what he thought he could do for us.  We then went into the lab, and looked at lighting, a fridge, and a heater.  After that, we went into they're house, and we could see examples of different AC systems and insulation.  On the second floor, we looked at different kinds of lighting, and then in the attic, we saw examples of the insulation and ducts.

 Today, Robin and Gavin worked on documenting programs, Karl worked on the table a bit, and also built a chainsaw possibly for Dave Parker's website.  Justin and I built the catapult from Dave Parker's website, tested it, took a picture of it and took it apart.

 This evening, we went to Noralto school, to show them what we do.  We had our robot doing some missions, and the Mystery Machine going on the other table.  We told them what everything was, and explained why we did certain things the way we did.

 Today, we did a lot of stuff on the table.  Me and Justin worked on more of Dave Parker's design, Robin worked on the master program, Karl and Gavin worked on a arm that would do several missions at once, to make it even faster.

 Tuesday we worked on building all of Dave's robots/arms, we completed 12 out of 30, and made $25 for each one.  It was fun too!!

Monday, we worked on a teamwork challenge, where we had all of us lined up, with 1 foot cords connecting us together.  We had to tie a overhand knot, but nobody could let go of the cord they had.  We also video taped our presentation, and Robin started working on the master program.  We also discussed what we needed for more info on our subject.

Yesterday, our team (or, most of it, Justin was sick) went to Penryn school to give the 6th grade class a presentation of what we do, and what we've done, and what we want to do in Atlanta.  I think the kids enjoyed it, and the school is thinking of starting a team themselves.  

Today Justin, Robin and Karl worked on the power mission, tweaking it so that once it moved the arm out there, it would move back a little bit and drop another arm, and run it into the side to it would be pushed closer to the power plant.  Gavin and me worked on fixing our other table, so that we could take it to the news studio to preform a few of our missions.  We also did our presentation once, and video taped it to see what we could improve.

Last saturday, the Lego Guards went to the state competition, and came in first place with the director's award, and are now going to Atlanta, sometime in April.
