The Lego Guards, the Robot Masters, and the Gatorobytes represented the FLL at the FIRST Robotics Competition at UC Davis on Saturday March 22, 2008

At this Competition, the robots were WAY BIGGER than ours...

For the first hour or so, we were the only FLL team there. A lot of people came over to look at our table and watch our robot do missions.  Alan brought the NXT machine gun we built, and we showed that also (we gave out Dave Parker's website to people.  One guy even said that he was going to buy a  NXT kit just so he could make the machine gun!)

With the table set up, we were able to try out some of our new table ideas.

The Gatorobytes arrived and brought their table, so the teams placed both tables in competition format, and ran timed "fun run" rounds (along with the Robot Masters). After a couple of runs, we decided to have fun and try a round one-handed!

The three teams all seemed to enjoy each other.

We'll see the Gatorobytes in Atlanta, and the Robot Masters are off to Japan for the Asia Open!
